Order placed on Jun 24, 2022 (2 years ago)

100% Payment of INR5,00,000+ made in advance before the material left the factory.

Installation started in first week of August 2022.

Installation didn’t complete until August 25, 2022.

How it started

The dealer, MG Enterprises in Ichalkaranji, convinced us to break down the entire kitchen, except the 4 walls, for a perfect installation. We dismantled the window, existing platform, flooring under the platform, concrete overhangs for storage. I had to incur expenses for dismantling everything, on civil work, adding a new UPVC window, a new platform, new tiling on the wall, flooring, new pipelines, new drainage line. I agreed to spend money on this because the owner of MG Enterprises said that the installment would not be perfect if we don’t break down the entire kitchen.

Unable to claim warranty

It’s almost 2 years since the order was placed, but the installation is not marked complete.

And since the installation is not marked complete, I cannot use the 10year warranty promise.

In Sleek’s defence

Sleek has replaced a number of faulty parts a couple of times. But every time they do that, they create more mess. Sometimes the replacement parts are faulty again (see below), and sometimes they damage existing material when trying to fix the faulty parts.

Their last communication to me was essentially a threat to stop asking for any more replacements if I wanted them to replace the latest faulty parts. I told them that if there is no issue with the parts, I will not ask them to replace it. They have refused to accept this reasonable response from me.

Issues

Incorrect measurements by Sleek’s team

I made them take measurements after all the civil work was complete.

Their staff still managed to mess up the measurements and ordered material that was not built to specification.

Some material was not sent

They completely forgot the side panels at the end of the platform.

A shelf was forgotten, and hasn’t been delivered till date.
